Tyrolean cooperation brings advantages

The Tiroler Tageszeitung and the Standortagentur Tirol report on the latest cooperation project between cluster members Leonhard Lang, Stäubli and Dessl Maschinenbau.

As one of the world's leading electrode manufacturers, Leonhard Lang relies on automation. With our long-standing partner and robotics expert Stäubli, we were able to develop a system for Leonhard Lang that assembles defibrillator pads in a production-stable manner and allows for a flexible change of format. This was solved using three Stäubli robots that can approach magazines and stations depending on the format in order to assemble the pads and reliably check them before they are fed into the further production process. Reliability and safety are particularly important for a product such as defibrillator pads.
